Man Sentenced in Taylor County for Pointing a Gun at a Lublin Man

-A man arrested after pointing a gun at another man appeared in Taylor County Court on Tuesday.Last year, authorities were looking for Randolph Vestal after it was reported he had pointed a gun at a man at the man’s home near Lublin. Vestal was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time. He was arrested after he was spotted leaving a wooded area. During his court appearance on Monday, he waived his preliminary hearing and entered a plea to the charges against him.
He was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, possession of meth as a repeater and making terroristic threats. He was sentenced to 2 years in prison and 2 years of extended supervision.
