The National Dairy Shrine Looking For Applicants For Annual Scholarships

The National Dairy Shrine is looking for applicants for its annual awarding of scholarships.NDS Director Dave Selner says thousands of dollars in scholarships are available to students in a variety of different programs. Those programs include the National Dairy Shrine Student Recognition Program, the National Dairy Shrine/Dairy Management, Inc. Education & Communication Scholarships, the Kildee Scholarships are offered in two categories, the National Dairy Shrine Merton Sowerby Junior Merit Scholarship, the Mike Lancaster Sophomore Merit Scholarship, depending on the number and quality of applicants there will be two to four Maurice Core Dairy Scholarships, two NDS Marshall McCullough scholarships, up to two NDS Iager Dairy Scholarships, three Klussendorf scholarships and four McKown scholarships.
Winners will be announced this summer, with the presentation of awards to be held at the annual NDS awards banquet in Madison later in the fall. Applications for each of these scholarship areas must be completed by April 15. Official scholarship application award forms are available at www.dairyshrine.org. (Wisconsin Ag Connection)
