Wisconsin Looking for Input Regarding Direction of the Preschool Development Grant-Birth to Five

-The State of Wisconsin was selected to receive the Preschool Development Grant-Birth to Five.This grant is a one-year federal grant that will allow Wisconsin to complete a needs assessment and a strategic plan to improve the early care and education system. They are looking for people to participate in a regional listening session to help guide the work of the Preschool Development Grant. They hope to ensure that by 2023, all Wisconsin families will have access to high-quality, affordable, local early care and education opportunities. They are seeking input from community members from diverse perspectives as the child care crisis in Wisconsin impacts families, communities and the economy. There are several listening sessions being held throughout the State of Wisconsin, which you can choose to attend.
Some sessions in Western Wisconsin include at the CVTC Business Educaton Center on Thursday, March 19th from 11:30-1pm, 3pm-4:30pm and 6:30pm-8pm. They also be at the Heartwood Resort in Trego on Thursday, April 16th at the same times mentioned above. Finally, they’ll be at the WTC Lunda Center in La Crosse on Thursday, April 23rd at the same times mentioned above.
