Clark County Dairy Operation Focus of March 9th Hoard's Dairyman Monthly Webinar

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Wisconsin dairy producers Scott Pralle and Pam Selz-Pralle will talk about their Clark County dairy operation, along with how they were able to break the all-time milk production record for a single cow during the Hoard's Dairyman monthly webinar series on March 9.The management goal of the Selz-Pralle Dairy is to create a stress-free environment for cows so their genetics can excel. They will share some of their management objectives and benchmarks, addressing herd health, milk quality, and nutrition that helps them maintain a 30,000-pound herd average. Their herd also contains the U.S. milk production record holder, Selz-Pralle Aftershock 3918, with 78,170 pounds of milk, 3,094 pounds of butterfat, and 2,393 pounds of protein.
