One Person Killed in House Fire in Stanley

-One person was killed in a fire in Stanley early Monday morning.

According to the Stanley Police Department, they received a call of a fire around 5:25am on Monday at 135 East Third Avenue. One man and his pet cat were found dead inside the home.

The fire is still under investigation, but no foul play is suspected.
