Clark County Tourism Committee Discusses Many Upcoming Events

-The Clark County Tourism Committee discussed a lot of information at their meeting on Wednesday.The committee began their meeting by hearing about the various events happening in the communities of the members present, including an update on the new, 3-day Jazz Festival coming to Munson Bridge Winery in August. They also heard an update on the 2020 events of the Clark County Young Professionals group including their upcoming March 18th “Spring Into a New You” Workshop at the Loyal City Hall. Some of the other items discussed include events at Levis Mound, the Spring Into the Arts Tour in April, the start of the Bloomin’ Greenhouse Tour in April, The Highground, the Clark County Chapter of the Friends of the Black River, the 2022 Farm Tech Days, the Wisconsin Rural Partners Summit in Marshfield and the Clark County Economic Development Corporation’s Annual Meeting and Business-to-Business Expo in April.
The group also heard updates from the Forestry and Parks Department including the progress of the Fairgrounds Revitalization Project, Bruce Mound, the snowmobile trails and more. The group also discussed making sure that we highlight quality of life, tourism, business and all the factors that make Clark County a desirable place to live, work, play and raise a family. Finally, they also had a discussion on the importance of making sure businesses have adequate signage and aren’t completely cut off during times of road construction in our communities.
