Election Results from Yesterday's Primary

-The candidates for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court and 7th Congressional District have been set.In yesterday’s primary, the top two vote winners were Incumbent Justice Dan Kelly who received 352,860 votes and Madison Judge Jill Karofsky with 261,721 votes. They will advance to the spring election on April 7th. Law Professor Ed Fallone received 89,181 votes. For the 7th Congressional District, Republican Tom Tiffany beat his opponent Jason Church to advance to the May 12th Special election. He received 43,769 votes to Church’s 32,287. Democrat Tricia Zunker won the Democratic vote, also heading to the May 12th election to face Tiffany. She received 35,564 votes over her challenger Lawrence Dale who only received 4,473 votes after doing little campaigning.
For Clark County, 4,129 people cast a ballot. The county voted like the state. Tricia Zunker received 847 votes to Dale’s 169. Tiffany received 1,516 votes to Church’s 1,467. Justice Dan Kelly received 2,434 votes to Karofsky’s 987 and Fallone’s 307. Also, for the Stanley-Boyd School District, Mark Morrow received 20 votes, Toni Seidl received 34 votes and Mike Henke received 29 votes.
