Wisconsin Receives $3 Million Grant for Public Libraries

(WRN) -The state Department of Public Instruction has received a three million dollar federal grant for Wisconsin's public libraries.It's part of the 2020 Grants to States program in the Library Services and Technology Act, meant to further collaboration between public libraries and school libraries, and to improve services. This is the third year Wisconsin received such federal grant money and it's about 100-hundred thousand dollars more than what the state got in 2018 or 2019.
State Superintendent Carolyn Stanford Taylor said in a statement the grant funds will help Wisconsin's libraries improve partnerships with the communities they serve.
