(WRN) -Interrupting a class or a speaker at a state university in Wisconsin could get students kicked-out of school, under a bill from Republicans. The Wisconsin Assembly approved a bill Tuesday that would enforce new rules for speech on campus, which require anyone who disrupts a speaker, a class, or a rally twice to be suspended. A third offense could get the student expelled.
Republicans say the rules protect free speech. Democrats say the idea undermines free speech. The proposal now heads to the State Senate.
