Director Michelle Reinen says that, as usual, telemarketing and robocalls topped out their list of complaints.
"The social security administration giving them a call, credit card companies offering to lower their interests, tech support companies, as well as there's still a few lingering IRS phone calls around."
Reinen says 'issues with landlords' was second on the list this year, behind robo calls and telemarketing.
"Issues where consumers are concerned about not receiving their security deposit back, or don't believe they've received enough of the security deposit back after moving out."
Reinen says the top of the list, like usual, is robocalls, and the same rules still apply when you're getting these calls.
"We want consumers to hang up the phone, do not answer if at all possible, and do not trust that caller ID."
