Neillsville Police Department Detains 75 People During House Party Early Sunday

-The Neillsville Police Department detained 75 individuals during a house party early Sunday morning.According to a press release from the department, at approximately 12:11 a.m. on February 2nd, two City of Neillsville Police Officers were on patrol and noticed suspicious activity in the parking lot of a closed business. The Police Officers investigated and contacted two adult white males. The Police Officers learned of a house party in the 2200 block of Black River Road. The Police Officers, with the assistance from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, went to 2204 Black River Road. Police attempted to contact the occupants of the residence. One male subject, from Marshfield, who was exiting the residence was questioned. The male was taken into custody and charged with Obstructing an Officer.
The Police obtained a search warrant and entered the residence. Once inside, Police detained approximately 75 individuals. Police issued 49 underage consumption citations. The City of Neillsville Police Department were assisted in this incident by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
