Neillsville Chamber of Commerce Holds Recognition Banquet on Saturday

-The Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce held their Recognition Banquet on Saturday at the Neillsville American Legion.After the delicious meal, the Chamber honored the award recipients. Russell’s of Neillsville was selected as Business of the Year and Home Grown Goods Company was selected as the Entrepreneur of the Year. Mathis Dairy, as the host of last year’s Neillsville Dairy Breakfast, was selected as the Agri-Business of the Year. Finally, the Spotlight Award went to both Joel and Marla Raine of Drescher Oil and Kevin Grap of Central Wisconsin Broadcasting. Many different businesses are being recognized with Anniversary Salutes including Schuster Campman Abstract and Title Company for 140 years, Unity Bank for 140 years, UW-Stevens Point-Marshfield Center for 125 years, Gaier Construction Corporation for 80 years, Neillsville Rotary Club for 70 years, Simplicity Credit Union for 70 years, Pavillion Cheese and Gifts for 55 years, TDS Telecom for 50 Years, Joan’s Hair Hut for 40 years, Kirk and Nancy Rodman for 35 years, TRICOR Insurance for 30 years, Sniteman Pharmacy for 30 years, the Neillsville Improvement Corporation for 30 years, Bookkeeping Plus for 30 years, S&S Distributing for 25 years, Mueller Publishing for 25 years and Excel Energy for 20 years.
Also on that list is Tufts Mansion B&B for 15 years, Friends of Bruce Mound for 15 years, Super 8 for 15 years, Brickyard for 15 years, Apple Valley Bar and Restaurant for 10 years, Family Health Center-Neillsville Dental Center for 10 years, Century 21 Gold Key Realty for 5 years and BBT Network Services for 5 years. The Chamber, lead by Executive Director Diane Kren, also recognized their new and returning board members including Cheryl Anderegg of Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville, Dr. Bruce Davis of Davis Chiropractice, Angela Eckman of CVTC, Jenny Kujawa of Unity Bank, Nicole Egland of Gowey Title & Abstract, Kathy Mathis of Schmitty’s on Main, Riley Hebert of Central Wisconsin Broadcasting, Sheryl Zeitler of Neillsville Retirement Community and Police Chief Jim Mankowski of the City of Neillsville. Chamber Ambassadors include Regan Barth of the City of Neillsville, Karen Hoppa of the Neillsville American Legion, Dr. Derek Lund of Advance Chiropractic and Laser Centers and Leah Wilson of Citizens State Bank of Loyal.
