All Clark County Snowmobile Trails to Remain Open, No Riding Suggested During Warm Temperatures Sunday
Saturday, February 1st, 2020 -- 8:15 AM
-All ATV and Snowmobile trails located in Clark County, on both Public and Private Lands will remain open at this time. However, one trail segment will remain closed. That is the GWR Riders Trail GG from Intersection 27 to the Oak Ridge Parking Lot. Sunday’s weather forecast calls for unseasonably warm temperatures. Riders are reminded that limiting traffic during these periods will help preserve the current snow base and potentially prolong the riding season. The Neillsville/Granton Trailbuster also stated that the trails are good, but they’re asking people to stay off on Sunday as the temperatures are forecasted to be in the 40’s that day.
Please note that UTV’s are not allowed on the Clark County ATV Trail system during the winter months, November 1st-May 14th. Clark County trails are subject to periodic closure; for updates on recent closures and/or openings please contact the Forestry and Parks Department at 715-743-5140, or visit the county website at www.clarkcountywi.com for more information on our trail system.
