Board Members of Clark Cultural Art Center Look to Community for Guidance in 2020 and Beyond
Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 -- 9:24 AM
-Board members of the Clark Cultural Art Center, or CART, here in Neillsville heard from community members on what they’d like the focus of the Art Center to be moving forward in 2020.Since its inception in 2016, the CART Center has held numerous classes, shows, displays, music events and much more at the center. The purpose of last night’s meeting was to get an idea on the level of interest from the community on other events, classes, etc., the facility could have in 2020. The board was also looking for this information so they would have it for grant writing purposes as they move forward. The board wants to provide better art access to Clark County so they can continue to offer a venue for people to learn, investigate and engulf themselves in art.
If you’d like to learn more about the CART center, you can follow them on Facebook. You can also head to their website, ccartcenter.org and provide your input on the survey on their website. They also plan to provide email updates and a quarterly newsletter in the near future. The CART center is also in need of more board members. Anyone with an interest or passion in the various art or cultural fields are encouraged to apply. They welcome board members from all over the county. Even though their location is Neillsville, they are here for all of Clark County.
