REMINDER: Public Welcome to Open Community Arts Meeting at the CART Center in Neillsville

-An open Community Arts Meeting will be held at the Clark County Art Center, or CART, at 201 E. 4th Street in Neillsville today from 6:00pm-7:30pm.

This free and open event will be held in the Main Art Gallery at CART and will feature an open panel discussion with board members. The purpose of the meeting will be to develop the next plan of action for representing Arts in Clark County with community input on needs and objectives through questions and discussion with participants. Topics discussed will include classes to be offered, music events, theatrical performances, Art Exhibits, Kids’ Art Camps, Culinary Classes, Mural Artworks and more. Information on community volunteer opportunities on committees, board members positions, and grant and public relations work will also be shared. Information will be shared and questions welcomed on any topics ranging from CART’s Mission Statement and the Vision of the organization to how our communities can best express arts in Clark County. The CART Center has held numerous exhibits, events, classes and more since its conception and completion here in Neillsville.

Questions can be submitted before the event by email to lindahgrants@gmail. For email, please use “Re: Arts Future” in the subject line. Questions can also be submitted in writing at the door. The discussion will be moderated in order for all voices to be heard. Please come to this meeting and help with creating the Future of Arts in Clark County Wisconsin. The Board of Directors of CART would graciously like to thank all of the volunteers, the personal sponsors, local businesses, Neillsville City and the Listerman Foundation for the selfless contributions in preserving the arts in our Clark County.
