(WRN) -A number of local police departments and sheriff’s offices in Wisconsin claim they don’t know how to keep track of human trafficking cases. The Wisconsin Justice Department released a report Thursday that said authorities reported only 66 human trafficking cases in 2018.
But many more said they need more training in how to investigate trafficking, and they would like some clarification on the difference between human trafficking and prostitution.
