Wisconsin Law Enforcement Reminding Travelers that Marijuana is Still Illegal Here

(WRN) -Marijuana is legal in Michigan, it will soon be legal in Illinois, but will remain illegal in Wisconsin.Sheriffs across Wisconsin are offering that reminder as the rules for marijuana are changing in neighboring states. Michigan legalized recreational sales in early December; Illinois’ legalization starts later this week.
Sheriffs in border communities in Wisconsin expect to see an uptick of arrests in the new year because of legal marijuana on the other side of the border.
