(WRN) -A directive to purge Wisconsin's voter roles will remain in effect, at least over the weekend. The 4th District Court of Appeals has given the plaintiffs in that case until Monday morning to file a brief against a request from state officials to stop the purge. That lawsuit was filed by the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty and requires the state to remove voters who missed a mailer trying to confirm their current address.
The move will remove 200-thousand people off the voter registry.
