Time for Fun in the Snow; Bruce Mound Opens this Saturday
Thursday, December 12th, 2019 -- 11:42 AM
-Bruce Mound Winter Sports Area is pleased to announce that they’ll be opening on schedule, this Saturday, December 14th.They also wanted to remind everyone about some of the changes they’ve made at Bruce Mound. First, if you do some tubing, you’ll notice the new LED lights as well as the new speakers playing your favorite tunes while you tube. Second, they’ve lowered the season pass price by 11% and, with their new reservation system, it’s easier than ever to purchase a pass. Select daily ticket prices and Friday night season passes did see a slight increase, the first since 2014. Guest 5 and under can now qualify for a free toddler ticket instead of needing a paid ticket. They are available at the office daily with the purchase of any adult, student, child or tubing ticket or season pass. The final changes relate to the available food and beverage services and their carry in policy. New to the restaurant, they will have the sale of limited fermented malt beverages.
Their carry in policy was also amended to exclude all carry in items beyond the parking lot, with the exception of allowing these in the Rock Room during paid rentals. In preparation for the increased demand of the space, they have lowered the rental cost to $37 per day. They also have plans to update this space in 2020. If there is a party that would like to bring their own food and drink, they strongly suggest you rent the Rock Room. This space can also be reserved online.
