Granton School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

-The Granton School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.Principal Amanda Kraus reported on staff professional development. Before Thanksgiving break the teachers had a ½ day data dig. Their school report card data was the focus of the dig and was used to compare them to various surrounding school districts. They will be using this data to reflect as a teaching team at their next PD opportunity. She also mentioned the Spanish Club’s next trip will be to Belize. She also talked about the academic and attendance updates. Last week they had their Honor Roll Breakfast and they have 19 students with perfect attendance, 27 on honor roll and 36 on high honor roll.
Finally, she provided a conference room update. A quote from Marshfield Book and Stationary for tables and chairs at $5,117. They had an availability of a 14-foot table with 12 durable chairs. Also, the walls will be painted gray with orange/black stripes. Shelving will be put in the room to organize school supplies and other conference organizational needs.
