Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 -- 9:33 AM
-The Neillsville City Council approved the 2020 Taxi Contract at their meeting on Tuesday. At their meeting at the end of November, the council heard information on the taxi service shared with Clark County. However, at the time, they couldn’t take any action on the item as the action item was inadvertently left off the agenda, so they could only discuss it. They did approve the contract at the meeting and they will be sharing the cost and filling out the application with the county. The council also approved the sign cost and design for Prock Park. The front will say Welcome to Neillsville and the back with say Thanks for Visiting. The total cost of the sign is $1,200 with $800 the actual cost of the sign and $400 for installation.
That money is being provided by the Listeman Foundation. The council also approved the polling place workers. Finally, the council approved donating an old squad car laptop from the Neillsville Police Department to the Owen-Withee Police Department. They also approved Patrick Glinski for a part-time city hall custodian position with wages at $11 an hour and a $.50 increase in 6 months and again at 12 months.
