St. Croix Hospice Opens Marshfield Branch

(Hub City Times) -St. Croix Hospice has opened a Marshfield office in response to rising demand for hospice services in central Wisconsin.The new location, based out of 204B Upham, is St. Croix Hospice’s ninth Wisconsin branch and 30th branch overall. According to the Wisconsin Department of Administration, the state’s elderly population, people age 65 and older, will nearly double from 2010 to 2040 as Baby Boomers age and life expectancies continue to increase. With these shifting demographics comes a growing need for hospice services statewide. The Marshfield branch opening comes one month after St. Croix Hospice’s 10-year anniversary in October. With the addition of a branch in Marshfield, St. Croix Hospice will serve 55 Wisconsin counties. St. Croix also has facilities in Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, and Nebraska.
