Cadott Man Faces Assault Charges

A Cadott man faces charges after allegedly assaulting a woman while she slept.According to WQOW -Devyn McCormick, 22, was charged with 2nd degree sexual assault Tuesday in Chippewa County Court.
According to the criminal complaint, the woman told police she woke up to find McCormick assaulting her. She said he ignored multiple pleas to stop.
McCormick told police the sex was consensual. He is free on a $5,000 signature bond and returns to court December 26.
