HIXTON WATER ADVISORY
Thursday, April 14th, 2005 -- 8:32 AM
Folks in Hixton are being urged to boil their water after a main break increased the risk of contamination.Village officials say people should boil their water or use bottled water for drinking, preparing food, and making ice. Testing for bacteria will be done on the water system when repairs are done.
If you boil water, the water should be heated to a rolling boil for at least five minutes. Village officials tell WCCN that the advisory will be in effect until at least Friday.
