Over $58,000 Raised During 11th Annual Marshfield Iron Chef Competition

(Hub City Times) -Over $58,000 was raised to end domestic violence, along with drug and alcohol addiction, in the lives of women and children during the 11th Annual Marshfield Iron Chef/Silent & Live Auction ??" “Treasure in Jars of Clay.”The annual fundraiser for Shirley’s House of Hope began with a silent auction and appetizer contest between local chefs. Each guest sampled the appetizers and voted for their favorite. The chefs were given a secret ingredient and 30 minutes to prepare an entrée for the judges.
Judges were Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry Program Director Debbie Bauer, Wood County Sheriff Shawn Becker, and Cornerstone Pastor of Worship Arts & Adult Ministries Nate Carter.
