Clark County Board of Supervisors Approved Some Ordinance

The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved some ordinance at their meeting on Monday.The first ordinance was regarding the proper and safe storage, handling and application of manure waste. The board has been discussing this for awhile and the need for the change was to make sure the county follows current law and regulations. The board did make on amendment, but they approved the first reading of the ordinance. It will come back for the 2nd reading during the December Board Meeting.
The board approved the 2nd reading, making it county law, of an ordinance regarding minors alleged to commit an act or communicate with other involving lewd, obscene or sexually explicit material. Again, this was an update to bring the county more in line with state laws and regulation.
The board also approved the 2nd reading, making it county law, of an ordinance that would make a slight change to the county’s forestry and parks. This is just a way for the county to keep people safe when enforcing the law on county trails, parks, campgrounds, etc. Finally, one last ordinance was sent back to the Executive Committee for changes.
