(Marshfield News Herald) -A Marshfield man faces over a dozen charges after prosecutors say he threw a homemade bomb at his ex-girlfriend's home and sent her threatening texts.Marathon County prosecutors charged Corey C. Machtan, 48, on Tuesday with unlawful possession of explosives; fleeing an officer; strangulation and suffocation; making terroristic threats; possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia; battery; criminal trespassing; and two counts each of sending threatening messages and disorderly conduct. Several incidents led to the charges against Machtan including throwing a homemade bomb at his ex-girlfriend's home, firing a gun at the end of her driveway, sending threatening texts and entering the woman’s home and pushing her to the ground and punching.
