Flu Season Officially In Wisconsin

According to WISN News, so far, six people have died from the flue in Wisconsin and almost 40 people have been hospitalized.The people who died from the flu were over the age of 65. Health officials said those are some of the people that are most at risk. Pregnant women and babies less than six months old are also at a high risk.
However, no matter the age, doctors are urging everyone to get vaccinated.
Experts said this year’s vaccine is expected to work better. Typically, it takes about two weeks to build immunity to the virus.
