Humbird Man Charges for Failing to Provide Food and Water to Animals

-A Humbird man is facing charges of failing to provide water for an animal after officers found dead and malnourished animals on his property.According to court records, the Clark County Sheriff’s Department received complaints from a witness stating many dogs at the property of 46-year-old Russell Sandley had bones showing, little dogs were getting trampled and older dogs were even eating the little ones. Deputies found a skull, skin and fur on the ground in one of the kennels. Sandley stated he was trying to find the animals homes.
Sandley is facing four counts of intentionally failing to provide water to animals. He’s also facing three counts of possession. He’s scheduled for an initial appearance on December 11th.
