Community Celebration at Marshfield Public Library this Afternoon
Sunday, November 3rd, 2019 -- 5:45 AM
-Today, Sunday, November 3rd, from 1pm-4pm, the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library is hosting an appreciation event recognizing library supporters, as well as the many community organizations and individuals who make Marshfield a great place to live, learn, work and play. Please join them in a celebration of all the great things that are happening here, at the library and in the community. There will be music with demonstrations, fine food and fun activities for adults and children, including Peter John Lindsay, Half-Twisted/Half-Knot balloon artist. The community has been blessed with numerous organizations that formed to fill specific needs. That is one of the reasons that Great Things Are Happening Here! Often, efforts to improve the community are unrecognized or unacknowledged and they want to change that. A sincere, personal thank you feels wonderful.
This event is an opportunity for parents and children to meet with, talk to and thank the individuals who are making a difference. So rather than a formal event with a list of speakers, they’ve planned a casual affair with just people thanking people. Marshfield Public Library has invited community organizations to be on hand to tell you about what they are doing and how they are accomplishing great things for our community. These are the everyday Heroes. Please join them to thank them.
Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
