Main Street Marshfield Holds Awards Bash

(Hub City Times) -Main Street Marshfield provided their annual numbers and honored downtown businesses and partnerships during an awards bash held in October.According to Main Street Executive Director Kaelie Gomez, the organization saw 14 new businesses and $849,300 in property improvements in the past year. Main Street committed $26,000 in façade grants through the city’s 50/50 Façade Grant Program. Volunteers logged 459 hours, valued at $11,530, to provide programs and activities which included 20 events/promotions bringing 15,000 attendees to the downtown area. The 2019 Main Street Marshfield Awards were presented during their annual bash at the Oven Above the Pub.
Honors included: Board member of the Year ??" Jenna Hanson, Commitment to Design ??" Circle the Date, Downtown Employee of the Year ??" Lacy Redig, Outstanding Business Renovation Award ??"Uptown Coffee Company, Outstanding Residential Renovation Award ??" Blue Vista Land, Partnership of the Year ??" Wenzel Family Plaza Committee, Spirit of Giving Award ??" The Rivers, Volunteers of the Year ??" Debbie Bauer and Todd Dietrich, and the Holiday Parade Marshals are Scott & Kori Larson.
