Monday, October 28th, 2019 -- 12:58 PM

-Immunizations are the best preventative measure to help protect from illness.

The Clark County Health Department is offering flu clinics throughout the county providing flu vaccinations FREE OF CHARGE to all CHILDREN ages 6 months through 18 years of age regardless of insurance status. No insurances will be billed for the child flu vaccines. The Clark County Health Department will be holding these special flu clinics throughout October around the county. They’ll be at the Neillsville High School tomorrow, Tuesday, October 29th, from 3:30pm-5:30pm; and the Loyal Elementary School on Wednesday, October 30th from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Children under the age of 18 need to have a consent form filled out and signed by a parent/guardian. Adults (age 19 and older) may also receive their flu shot at these clinics.

The Health Department will bill the following insurance carriers for adults: Medicaid/BadgerCare/Forward Health, Security Health Plan, Security Administrative Services, Advocare, BlueCross BlueShield, and Medicare. You must present your insurance card at the clinic. If you do not have one of the above insurance carriers, you may pay cash or check for the adult flu vaccine. The cost of the adult flu vaccine is $30.00 per dose. For more information or questions, please contact the Clark County Health Department at 715-743-5105.
