Clark County Social Services Department Holds Annual Volunteer Driver Training and Banquet

-On Thursday, October 17th, Clark County Social Services Department held their Annual Volunteer Driver Training and Banquet.REALiving presented on Ethics and Boundaries and Officer Strozk presented on traffic laws. Currently the department has 21 Volunteer Drivers who transport elderly and disabled residents to needed medical appointments. In 2018 the Volunteer Driver Program provided approximately 6,314 trips and over 211,912 miles of transportation to community members. Drivers were also recognized for years of service at the banquet.
Larry Fitzmaurice was recognized for 25 years of dedicated service to the program. The Clark County Department of Social Services would again like to thank our Volunteer Drivers for their continued service and dedication to the residents of Clark County. Also, the department would like to thank all the county businesses for their donations, which were used to further appreciate our drivers.
