Wisconsin Ranks 21st Among the 50 States for Retail Gun Sales Per Person

(WRN) -A new study ranks Wisconsin 21st among the 50 states for retail gun sales per person.There were 72-point-3 sales per 100-thousand people in 2018, an increase of just over 54 percent from 2009. Security-dot-Org's "Gun Country" study is based on the most recent background check data released by the FBI through 2018. Montana had the highest number of gun sales per person, with Alaska , South Dakota, West Virginia and Wyoming rounding out the top five.
The states with the lowest gun sales? New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Nebraska, and North Carolina.
