Administrators' Reports at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.Elementary Principal Joe Green provided an updated on the ARC reading program, teachers completed another training session on October 4th, the Elementary School is hosting a Family Book Club and a new teacher seminar was held on October 9th. Athletic Director and Dean of Students Jenny Mayenschein reported on Homecoming week and student participation was great. The Dig Pink Night on October 8th was a huge success with nearly $2500 raised. 50% was donated to the Marshfield Clinic Cancer Research and 50% to local family battling cancer. Middle School boys basketball began October 14th and the One-Act Play performed on October 14 at Eau Claire Regis and advanced to the next level. The Pie Theater is Sunday October 27th at 1:00 pm.
District Administrator Todd Felhofer reminded the board that there will be a Spring Election with one board member up for re-election. Mr. Felhofer and Mr. Green met with 7C and he mentioned that both schools will be conducting active shooter drills this fall. Parent-teacher conferences will be held in both buildings October 24th and 25th. Also, Mr. Felhofer attended the WASDA Fall conference September 19th and 20th and he will be attending the WiRSA conference October 28th and 29th.
