Clark County Tourism Committee Looking for More Members

-The Clark County Tourism Committee had their meeting on Wednesday.The committee heard from Jeff Anderson with the Wisconsin Department of Tourism. He discussed the success of their summer advertising with former Green Bay Packer Donald Driver. He then touched on the fall season and the continued fall advertising with Driver. He also discussed the new Office of Recreation being formed within the Department of Tourism and the strategy of the department moving forward with their new secretary. He also mentioned that they’re working with a new agency for branding, public relations and in creating a new website. The committee also discussed the winter/holiday events in the county, updates from The Highground, updates from the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department, the Harvest Moon Tour and Farm Tech Days in 2022. They also discussed the impact of hunting season in Clark County.
Finally, the Clark County Tourism Committee is looking for new individuals to be on the committee. If you’re interested in providing and discussing ideas on the county’s tourism, or just learning more on what the county has to offer, you’re welcome to join the committee. Members of community organizations, businesses and chambers are highly encouraged to join.
