Clark County Economic Development Corporation and Tourism Bureau Holding Kick Start You Career Bus Tours

-October is manufacturing month, highlighting the challenging and rewarding careers offered in manufacturing, agribusiness, and health care.Today, these areas of business in Clark County are robust, dynamic industries, driving the creation of family-supporting jobs, inspiring innovation, and advancing the county’s economy. Clark County Workforce Council & Clark County Economic Development Corporation are once again sponsoring the 2019 Kick Start Your Career Bus Tours. High school students throughout Clark County will be participating. Their goal is to introduce them to the companies and jobs right here in Clark County from the front office, human resources, sales and marketing, plant safety, transportation to corporate and international opportunities, research and development and much more.
This year’s tours are on October 23rd and will include WI Bench, Thorp Equipment and Marieke Gouda in Thorp; Cummins, the Clark County Courthouse and Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville in Neillsville; Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center, Owen/Withee/Curtiss Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement in Owen, Withee and Curtiss; and Meyer Manufacturing, Loos Machine and TP Printing in Dorchester, Abbotsford and Colby.
