Former Granton FFA Officers Donate Jackets Back to Chapter

-Five former students who previously served as state FFA officers from the Granton FFA returned to their alma mater on Sunday to share memories and donate their FFA jackets to be displayed in the high school’s agriculture hallway.During the annual Granton FFA Fall Banquet, Milton Garbisch (who served in 1959-60), Fritz Garbisch (1962-63), Kristi (Pribbernow) Duis (1993-94), Pat Sternitzky (1995-96), and Jillian Tyler (2018-19) talked about what agriculture classes were like during each of their years in school and reminisced about their time of service as state officers of the youth organization. The program was moderated by Daniel Clark, who is serving as the 2019-20 sectional officer from Spencer.
Also at the banquet, the chapter bestowed its Distinguished Service Award to Eddie and Tammy Eron. Dale and Missy Walz were honored with a VIP Citation. And Courtney Schoessow was presented with a Chapter Honorary Degree.
