The new Wisconsin 4-H specialty license plates are still available through the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles.According Wisconsin Ag Connection, the plates bear the message '4-H Empowering Youth.' The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation applied to make the plates available to state motorists using a new process for sponsoring an Authorized Special Group license plate. As part of the program, the 4-H would get $25 for each plate registered in the state. Vehicle owners who register cars, trucks or motor homes are eligible to obtain the new plates.
The DMV says 4-H license plates may also be personalized by paying an additional $15 fee each year in addition to the $25 donation and regular annual registration fee. To request a 4-H specialty plate, visit www.wisconsindot.gov/.
