Neillsville and Granton Equestrian Teams Heading to State

The Wisconsin Interscholastic Horsemanship Association (WIHA) District 6 regional competition was held at the Wood County Fairgrounds in Marshfield the weekend of October 5-6.WIHA is an equestrian competition for students in 6th- 12th grade attending any Wisconsin educational institution.
Two Clark County teams competed in the District competition.
Neillsville High School, represented by Brooke Magnus and her pony Zippos Classic Lad, earned Grand Champion among Division D schools. The Granton Equestrian team received Grand Champion honors in Division C. The Granton Equestrian Team is represented by Abigail Schoessow and her pony R U Ready for This; Charlotte Hanna and her pony My Sweet Impulse; and Grace Verhalen and her pony I’ve Got a Girl Crush.
The Neillsville and Granton Equestrian teams will be traveling to Madison the last weekend in October for the WIHA finals.
