-The Neillsville Area Players is deep into rehearsals for their next performance, "It’s a Wonderful Life", coming up in November.I spoke with member and director Jason Bravener about the play and he explained why he choose to direct "It’s a Wonderful Life."
"It's a Christmas classic! It's a story that people grow up knowing and I thought it would be interesting to do it on stage."
Jason then talked about the cast of the play.
"They're all energetic. We have some new faces. We have some old faces. We have some old faces who usually play a certain type of character and they're switching it up and playing a different kind of character. The chemistry is there. Everybody is getting along. This thing is coming along beautifully."
Jason also provided the dates of the show and the cost.
"Shows are November 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th and 10th and the cost is $10."
Finally, Jason explained why people should come and see this classic story put on my the Neillsville Area Players.
"Because we're doing something that has never been done on the stage before. We are presenting this show entirely in black and white. And we have some other effects that we're going to be using as well if we can get it to work. And it's a fun show you can bring your family too."
Again, the shows are happening November 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th and 10th and the cost is just $10.
