League of Municipalities Wants State Legislature to Take Action on Incidents of Mass Violence

(WRN) -A group that lobbies for the state's municipalities wants the state Legislature to take action to prevent incidents of mass violence.The League of Municipalities will present a letter to Governor Tony Evers, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald. Signed by more than 180 leaders and other community officials, it states that Wisconsin "cannot continue the cycle that involves wringing our hands for a week and then moving on to business as usual.”
The signers want Evers and the Legislature to work together on things that can help minimize mass violence.
