Greenwood City Council Approves Hunting Land Contract and More

-The Greenwood City Council approved a hunting land contract at their meeting last week.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, the council approved the Hunting Land Contract renewal for 3 years until March 31st of 2023. They also tabled the Development Agreement with FORE Development to the October 2nd meeting and they approved the Tower Space Lease agreement with Dairyland Power Cooperative. They also approved updating an ordinance and updating the ordinance books to make all copies current. The council also approved all operators’ licenses and approved online credit card payments with passing on 3% fees to the consumer. They also approved the purchase of tires from Egle Tire, approved hiring JJ’s at $75/ hour for brush cutting and they approved a bid with LB & R Construction with base, alternate B adding eaves trough and downspouts, and alternate D removing and replacing Exterior Steel wall panels with the total projected cost being $104,437.99.
Finally, the council accepted an officer’s resignation, approved allowinh part-time officer Alex Cattanach to fill in up to 40 hours per pay period and remaining up to 60 hours filled with call pay, approved the extended residency requirements to 35 miles by road, approve adding Jill Fortuna on the Finance Committee and approve adding Jill Fortuna and Louie Fortuna on the Facilities Committee.
