(WRN) -A state lawmaker wants more people to put their phones away when they drive.Representative John Spiros (R-Marshfield) is introducing a bill to expand Wisconsin's "hands free" law. Right now, the law requires driver to stay off their phones only in construction zones.
Spiros wants it to apply everywhere. It's been illegal to text while driving in Wisconsin for about a decade, but Spiros' bill would make it a crime to use anything but a hands-free device behind the wheel.
