WE Energies Seeing Uptick in Scams

(WRN) -We Energies says they're once again seeing an uptick in scammers posing as utility employees.Company officials say several of their customers were swindled out of hundreds of dollars by callers who claimed they were going to disconnect the power if they weren't paid immediately.
We Energies reminds people that's not how they do business, and no one legitimate will threaten you over the phone for prepaid cards or gift cards.
