Greenwood School Board Approves Employment Matters

-The Greenwood School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board had no resignations and they approved the hiring of Heather Brehm as a 4K Assistant, Penny Hebert as a Study Hall Supervisor and for Kids Club, Amy Kauer for Kids Club, Kaitlyn Keech as the School Counselor, Dylan North as the High School Special Ed Assistant, Lori Olson as the Elementary School LMC Assistant and Laura Boyd and Rebecca Bernhagen as Substitute Teachers. The board also approved 13 volunteers and they approved the choir trip to the Dorian Festival January 12-14 of next year in Decorah, IA.
The board also accepted a $200 donation from Forward Bank. During the public opinion portion of the meeting, one community member asked about students having more access to foreign languages and a mom commented that her children really liked having a second entrée choice at the elementary school and amount of fresh fruits and vegetable available for students.
