Loyal School Board Approves Estimated Tax Levy at Annual Meeting

-The Loyal School Board held their Annual meeting Monday evening.As with most Annual meetings that are held before October 15th, the numbers provided were preliminary until the board has their final Friday count and they are provided state aid based on that number. That being said, the board, and community members present, unanimously approved the estimated tax levy of $1,766,592.
That will likely put the mill rate under last year’s 9.18. The board salaries will also stay the same and Loyal’s Annual Meeting for 2020 was set for October 26th.
