Former Governor's Son Considering Congressional Run

(WRN) -It seems former Governor Scott Walker's obsession with "AOC," New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is shared by his son Matt.The elder Walker said on WISN TV's "Upfront" program that Matt Walker is considering a run for Congress.
"He feels frustrated that AOC somehow nationally is reflective of his generation. He's 25 and he feels like their needs to be a counter voice to that. People his age, he would argue really are more libertarian than liberal. They want the government out of the way, they particularly want the federal government not to be in their business. That's really the counter to what AOC is talking about, and I think that's something that would play well in the 5th."
Scott Walker said "people reached out" to his son following 5th District congressman Jim Sensenbrenner's retirement announcement last week. He said he thinks Matt Walker is interested in making a run for the seat, something several other Republicans are also considering.
