July Average Corn Price

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The July average corn price received by farmers in Wisconsin was $3.98 per bushel, according to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report.This was up nine cents from June and 55-cents more than the previous July. Soybean prices for the month averaged $8.31 per bushel, also up nine cents for the month, but down 99-cents for the year. Oats were $3.07 per bushel in July, 44-cents below the June price, but 46-cents above July 2018.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $155.00 per ton, down $58.00 from June, but $40.00 above last July. The alfalfa hay price averaged $167.00 per ton--down $52.00 for the month, but up $40.00 for the year. And the other hay price averaged $125.00, down $51.00 from June, but up $31.00 from the July 2018 price.
