Announcements from the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department

-The Clark County Forestry and Parks Department has announced the Russell Memorial Park and Campground Day Use Area & Boat Landing is closed effective immediately as there are major repairs being completed to the parking lot.

This area will remain closed until October 31st, 2019, when construction is tentatively planned for completion. Patrons looking to launch a boat on Lake Arbutus in Clark County should use the boat landings on Arnold Creek Rd, Riviera Ave, & Rocky Point Ct. Also, effective October 1st, the Clark County Campground and Facility Reservation System will be temporarily offline. They will temporarily suspend all reservations and purchases via phone or web at that time and they will remain unavailable to all users until November 1st. On November 1st, they will be transitioning to a new online reservation system. Finally, all Clark County Summer ATV/UTV Trails located on Public Lands remain open to the public. Knobby Ridge Motorcycle Trails West of Bachelors Avenue remain open. Trails East of Bachelors Avenue remain closed for maintenance.

Levis/Trow Mound Trails remain open. All riders are reminded to stay on trail, obey all closed signs, and to please ride responsibly. Street legal motorcycles, driven by licensed drivers are allowed on the ATV/UTV trail system. Non-street legal motorcycles are not allowed on the ATV/UTV trail system and may only be ridden on the Knobby Ridge Motorcycle Trails. All Clark County Trails are subject to periodic closure. Please visit the county website at www.co.clark.wi.us for updated trail information. Clark County ATV/UTV Trails close October 31st each year.
